10+ Absolutely Stunning Washington Wedding Venues That We Love

Choosing the right venue can be a make-or-break decision when planning a wedding. Finding one that fits your overall vision, your needs, and of course, fits your budget. Whether you are local to the Pacific Northwest, or will be traveling here for a destination wedding, there are a lot of really great venues that we think you should check out.

As we head into “engagement season” and “wedding show season” it is time to start considering your options.

Today, we’re excited to share some venue recommendations and shed light on why these spaces stand out from the crowd. Keep in mind, there are a lot of really great venues that aren’t on the list – these just happen to be ones that we happen to work at occasionally that we absolutely adore (in no particular order).

Port Gamble Weddings & Events

Location: Port Gamble, Wa. (Kitsap County)

Why We Love It:

Port Gamble Weddings is a unique venue to Kitsap, as it is one of the only “open format” venues that is open year-round with several indoor and outdoor options. Many that are open past October either require clients to use their in-house vendors or choose from a small list. Another perk of Port Gamble Weddings, is that you have multiple ceremony options; the historic St. Paul’s Cathedral and also the grassy bluff overlooking the shores of the Hood Canal at the Hood Canal Pavilion. During the warm months, they have have a large outdoor tent to accommodate large guest lists, or to enjoy the light breeze from the water. Along with a variety of amenities, there is an on-site staff that will help answer all your questions during the planning stage and also on the day-of the event.

The Pavilion has an in-house wooden bar that is conveniently located near the kitchenette, or can be moved to the back patio if you need space in the pavilion. We are also approved to drive The Bustender onto the patio to welcome guests with a tasty beverage upon arrival. One of the only local mobile bars that can fit onto the front patio – as opposed to the larger mobile bars that must stay in the parking lot or outside of the fenced area. See the video example HERE.

We are the Premier Preferred Bartending Service selected by the PGW&E Staff due to continued quality service over the years. Ask about the venue rental discount for weddings when using our services, and our off-season service discount exclusively offered to Port Gamble clients.

Another “open format” venue, with the exception of Bartenders – you must use one of their approved bar services if you’d like alcohol. They host weddings from late May to early October. The venue also has a beautiful live-edge cedar bar and a covered area offered with the venue rental, otherwise, we can serve from The Bustender in the designated cove they have for our mobile bar. See video example HERE.

We are also the Premier Preferred Bartending Service selected by the Owners of Cedar Springs due to continued quality service over the years. Ask about the venue rental discount for weddings when using our services.
